History of Ranthambore Wildlife safari

Ranthambore National Park is not too old, in earlier times this park was once the favorite hunting ground of kings, but in 1955, the Government of India made this place Sawaimadhopur Sports Sanctuary, but due to increased hunting of tigers, the sanctuary was converted into a Tiger Reserve in 1973 under Project Tiger.

It is believed that at that time the number of tigers had reduced to just 1000 in the whole country. However, during the 1980s, this tiger reserve was converted into a national park. In today's date, this national park is no less than a paradise for wildlife lovers from all over the world.
