After all these years, Hampi, also known as the greatest outdoor museum in the world, continues to bear witness to the splendour of the Vijayanagara Empire. The monuments that are still standing give homage to luxury and majesty with their well articulated design and sculpture. The Vijaya Vittala Temple, which according to legend was built for Lord Vishnu himself, the ancient Virupaksha Temple, which is thought to have served as the location of Lord Shiva and Parvati's engagement, as well as countless other historically significant buildings serve as the backdrop to the Hampi Heritage & Wilderness Resort.

The Hampi Heritage & Wilderness Resort, a popular JLR property, has a well-known World Heritage Site as a background. This JLR trip has an element of adventure thanks to its location on the outskirts of the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, where the wild terrain serves as the sloth bears' natural habitat. Rustic is given an entirely new meaning by the barren, scrub-covered countryside.

The Hampi Heritage & Wilderness Resort offers a wide range of activities. From a watchtower located atop a hill, you may observe sloth bears in their natural environment and, if you're lucky, other animals including wild boars, black-naped hares, pangolins, porcupines, jackals, and leopards. In addition, the 8 km drive into the forest provides a good opportunity to see the numerous peafowl, spurfowl, yellow-throated bulbuls, sand grouse, quails, sirkeer malkoha, and stone-curlews that call the area home. In addition to the sloth bear safari, there are also temple trails, environmental hikes, and bird watching.

It is advisable to tour Hampi's heritage sites in the mornings, which are generally separated into the Sacred Centre, the Royal Centre, the Urban Core, and the Suburban areas. Anegundi, also known as Kishkinda in the Ramayana, is located across the River Tungabhadra and has an old-world charm with quaint cottages, aqueducts that irrigate its rice fields, and legendary landmarks. The Sloth Bear Sanctuary is a fantastic site to base yourself while seeing the amazing legacy at Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal, all of which are included as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

After a long day, relax with a delectable dinner. Trust us when we say that even after three days with us, you won't have seen everything the resort has to offer.
