  1. Day 1- ARRIVE BELIZE - CAYO DISTRICT

    After arriving in Belize City, you have the day to spend at your leisure in the serene 365-acre private reserve along the banks of the peaceful Privassion Creek.

  2. Day 2- CAYO DISTRICT (CARACOL & RIO FRIO CAVE & POOLS)

    Today is filled with history as you spend the day visiting the impressive ruins of Caracol, as well as the caves and pools of Rio Frio. Caracol is one of the largest known sites in the Mayan world, and used to be a centre that covered over 55 square miles and held a population of around 180,000 people. Enjoy a panoramic view of the rainforest canopy from the Caana pyramid before stopping for a picnic lunch at the ruins. After lunch, head to the Rio Frio cave and dive into the natural pools formed by waterfalls.

  3. Day 3- CAYO DISTRICT (ACTUN TUNICHIL MUKNAL)

    After San Antonio you will enter Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve, a 106,000 acre national park. During the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s many local people were employed in this area, to cut the timber however the area was affected by Southern Pine Beetles in 1999. As a result, some areas are quite barren, although it is still a good opportunity to learn about the reforestation project that is taking place here. The final stop will be Caracol, the largest archaeological site in Belize covering an area of 30 square miles amidst the thick sub-tropical jungle. Look out for the pyramid of Caana - almost 50 metres high! On returning to your hotel and time dependent, it may be possible to cool off from the heat at Rio-on Pools in the rainforest and visit the caves at Rio Frio, two of the Cayo area's natural highlights.

  4. Day 4- CAYO DISTRICT - ORANGE WALK

    This morning, you will be transferred 35 miles northwest of Belize City to the Community Baboon Sanctuary where you can experience close encounters with the howler monkeys of Belize. After your private guided tour through the sanctuary, you will sit down for lunch before heading to the airstrip for your private charter flight to Orange Walk (via Belize City), an eco-friendly area within a stunning rainforest, known for being the best area in Belize to spot the elusive jaguar! Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and spend the evening at your leisure.

  5. Days 5-6 - ORANGE WALK

    You will have two days to explore this beautiful area that is bursting with an abundance of wildlife. There are around 9 miles of trails to be hiked with the aid of a guide and there are optional tours of walking safaris, bird watching, night walks, canoeing, fly fishing and horse riding. If you'd rather explore by vehicle, there are visits to the wetland habitat at Laguna Seca or La Milpa, a Mayan site located nearby. A vast amount of wildlife has been spotted on the estate, including deer, monkeys and jaguars, as well as white-lipped and collared peccary tapir, brocket and white-tailed deer. Smaller species spotted include tayra, fox and kinkajou.

  6. Day 7- ORANGE WALK - AMBERGRIS CAYE

    Following your adventurous few days, you will have the chance to relax in Ambergris Caye, the gateway to the vast barrier reef and atolls. Take a short 45 minute flight to the main island and ensure you have a window seat to gain a birds-eye view of the sparkling blue waters, coral reefs and clear lagoons. Spend the remainder of your day relaxing in your resort amongst the tropical gardens overlooking the azure ocean.

  7. Day 8- AMBERGRIS DIVING

    Today you will be met at your hotel and taken on your half-day excursion to the second largest barrier reef in the world. On the way, you will stop at the dive shop for your diving equipment and a safety briefing with your dive master before heading to the dock to board the motor boat to the coral reef. You will head out on three dives; the specific dive locations will vary depending on the weather conditions and recent wildlife sightings. Due to the clarity of the water, the views whilst diving are unparalleled, so expect to see stunning healthy coral formations and an abundance of willdife including rays, turtles and different types of shark. After your marine excursion, head back to your luxury lodge to relax in the serene paradise.

  8. Day 9- AMBERGRIS CAYE

    Take today to explore the beautiful cayes and the island's only town, San Pedro. The sandy streets are lined with waterfront restaurants, tiki bars and dive shops for those wanting to relax. If you'd prefer to discover more of the marine life, you can visit some of the popular dive sites including Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Alternatively, Ambergris Caye offers pristine beaches to laze upon under the beautiful beaming sun.

  9. Day 10- AMBERGRIS CAYE - PLACENCIA

    Today, catch a short flight to Belize City and connect with your flight to Placencia, the 25-kilometer peninsula that runs parallel to the Belizean mainland and the village at its southernmost tip. To the west, the land is flanked by a lagoon and distant views of the Maya Mountains, then to the east by mangroves and the Caribbean Sea.

  10. Days 11-12 -PLACENCIA

    Placencia allows you to truly relax and experience beautiful Caribbean beaches whilst also having the chance to dive, snorkel and sail off the shores. The village offers dive shops, restaurants, bars and a lively colourful atmosphere to explore.

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

 

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

 

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
