Ultimate Madhya Pradesh Tiger Safari

Journey through the forests and grasslands of India, in search of the elusive Bengal tiger and other wildlife which inspired Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’. Exploring Tadoba, Pench and Kanha National Park and staying in camps right in the heart of the wilderness, you will be ideally placed to witness this majestic big cat in the wild, as well as other Indian wildlife such as leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs and jungle cats.     Arrive Mumbai

    Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in town. Check in and relax in preparation for your adventure ahead.

    Mumbai - Tadoba National Park

    This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nagpur, where upon arrival you will be met a driven to Tadoba National Park (approximately 3.5 hours). The park is named after the God Taru who, according to local legends, was a village chief who was killed in an encounter with a tiger. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel before enjoying your first game drive in the park.

    Tadoba National Park

    Tadoba National Park is located in the heart of a forest reserve, and is home to immeasurable species of flora and fauna, including large mammals such as Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, Sambar deer and jungle cats. You will spend the next few days exploring the wildlife of the park, enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive every day.

    Tadoba - Pench National Park

    Enjoy your final game drive in Tadoba National Park, before you are driven to Pench National Park (approximately 6 hours). Nestled in the lower reaches of the Satpura hills, Pench National Park is named after the Pench river which flows through it. The park is a mixture of moist deciduous and dry deciduous teak forest, and is crossed by various water streams which flow into the river. Upon arrival, check into your camp for the next few nights.

    Pench National Park

    Wake up early this morning for your first game drive in the park. The wildlife that can be found in the park includes sloth bears, pangolins, wolves, wild dogs, porcupines, leopards, and, of course, tigers. Return to your camp at midday to relax or enjoy a nature walk around the camp, before setting off on your second game drive of the day in the afternoon.

    Pench - Kanha National Park

    After your final morning game drive in the park, you will be driven (approximately 4.5 hours) to Kanha National Park. Kanha is one of the largest national parks in India, containing diverse sal, bamboo forest and grassland ecosystems, and home to 22 species of mammals and over 200 species of birds. It was also the inspiration behind Rudyard Kiplings famous novel "The Jungle Book".

  7. Day 8-9

    Kanha National Park

    You will spend the next few days exploring the national park, heading out on game drives into the park in the morning and afternoon. Travel through the dense forest as you search for wildlife including tigers, wild dogs, sloth bears, leopards, mouse deer, and the endangered barasingha or swamp deer.

    Kanha National Park - Mumbai

    Today you will head out on your final game drive into the park. After your safari, you will be driven to Nagpur (approximately 6 hours) to catch your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel for your final night in India.

    Depart Mumbai

    Today is the final day of your safari; say goodbye to India as you board your international flight back home.

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

 

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

 

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
