  1. Day 1: ARRIVE IN LIVINGSTONE

    Upon arrival at Livingstone airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and then drive to your lodge on the banks of the Zambezi. Your home for the next couple of days is the Dog House at Tongabezi Lodge. This is the perfect place to explore Victoria Falls as it comes with its own valet, guide, vehicle and boat, dining room and plunge pool. This ensures you have full control over what you want to do during your stay. The lodge also has a dedicated children’s menu and can arrange separate meal times if required.

  2. Day 2: ACTIVITIES AT VICTORIA FALLS

    A full day of activities lie ahead which either the whole family can get involved in or the parents can split from the children if they want a romantic sunset cruise! Learn to fish, visit Tujatane village where your children can play games with the local children, try an African treasure hunt, visit the falls, ride and bathe elephant, enjoy a sunset cruise, go on a scenic helicopter flight; the options are endless. And that is if you actually want to leave the Dog House!

  3. Day 3: LIVINGSTONE - SELINDA CONCESSION

    Depart the magnificent falls for the next chapter of your adventure and head deep into the Botswana bush, travelling by road and light aircraft. Your children will be spotting elephants before they’ve even landed! Meet your private guide at the airstrip for a short game drive into the camp, your guide helping to identify wildlife en-route. After a hearty tea, head out on your first proper game drive in search of the roaring lions, towering giraffes and many other wildlife. Return back to your own private exclusive suite for some delicious food, then sleep in Africa’s largest and most luxurious tented accommodation!

  4. Day 4-5: SELINDA CONCESSION

    Head out with your private guide to explore this spectacular concession which is renowned for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, packs of wild dog and predator sightings. Being a private concession means you can enjoy walking safaris as well as game viewing by boat on the Zibalianja lagoon. Enjoy picnic lunches and watch the sunset over the African plains after a day out on safari. When not on safari take a dip in the pool or learn more about their Rhinos Without Borders project which the camp supports.

  5. Day 6: SELINDA - KHWAI COMMUNITY RESERVE

    Enjoy a final game drive as you set off by helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta to the Khwai Community Reserve for some Out of Africa style camping. You are now in the heart of the wilderness in a private campsite set up just for your family. This is quite possibly one of the most incredible experiences in Africa. Whilst it is camping, it is far from basic and the most luxurious camping in Botswana! The highly experienced staff are attentive to your every need, the tents en-suite, the food is exquisite and the evenings spent under the stars with just the sounds of the bush are magical.


  6. Day 7 & 8: KHWAI COMMUNITY RESERVE

    Wake up to the sounds of the bush as you start your traditional safari day with your private guide. It is entirely up to you how you want to spend your days but maximising your time in the bush is recommended, along with lazy afternoon siestas. In addition, your itinerary may include boating, mokoro excursions and guided walks depending on which areas you select to visit and your preferences. Each evening, enjoy sundowners in the bush and some star gazing back around the camp fire.

  7. Day 9: KHWAI - MAKGADIKGADI PANS

    Spend one final morning at the camp before bidding farewell to your guide as you set off by flight to the Makgadikgadi Pans to the ultra-luxurious, award winning Jack’s Camp, run by the adventurer and pioneer Jack Bousfield. You are now in the oldest deserts in the world and the rugged wilderness surrounding you is awe-inspiring. Head out and watch one of the best sunsets you ever will over this beautiful landscape and learn about the formation of the world’s largest super lake.

  8. Day 10: MAKGADIKGADI PANS

    Today is a very special day as you and your family get to meet ‘Timon’ and his friends, the habituated meerkats. You’ll have a chance to watch their captivating behavior – a lovely occasion to get some family photos for the album! Enjoy a bush picnic whilst your guide explains life out in the bush. Head to Africa’s third-largest tree; Chapman’s Baobab, which was found by explorers in the bygone era. Finish your active day with a quad bike adventure across the pans (dry season only), whilst the sun sets and the stars rise.

  9. Day 11: DEPART BOTSWANA

    Today is a sad day as you depart the wonders of the Botswana bush, say goodbye to the wildlife and start your journey back home. After your morning activity you will be driven back to the airstrip for your flight to Maun to connect with your onward flight. Whilst you may not return to the bush for a while, your memories of your time here will remain at the forefront of your mind and your children will have developed leaps and bounds through their recently found bush skills!

Essential

  • It is mandatory to carry the original government-issued any valid ID cards for Indian nationals and original passports for foreign nationals.
  • Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen lotions.
  • T-shirt, shirt or blouse - long sleeves and collars help to protect from the sun and mosquitoes (Neutral or Non-bright colored)
  • Comfortable walking shoes (or boots) and socks.
  • Preventative pharmaceuticals.

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
