This beach hopping trip takes us to the thick of things in Southern Thailand where old school meets the new and lush countrysides and pristine beaches go hand in hand with bustling fishing villages, charming beach sides and national park. There is something for everyone who ventures here.

  1. Day 1: Bangkok – Arrival

    Arrive in Bangkok and settle into your hotel. Today you can plan your own day visiting some of the classic highlights of Bangkok. Our guide meets you at 17.00pm at your hotel lobby for tour briefing. We convene tonight to celebrate the start of our awesome journey on a bike.

  2. Day 2: Bangkok to Hua Hin

    Our guide meets you at your hotel lobby at 7:30am and we transfer about two hours before the cycling begins. Today we ride past vast expanse of paddy fields and palm trees. End day with a ride along the coast to a splendid crescent beach situated in the middle of an airbase.

  3. Day 3: Kui Buri

    A flat terrain combined with few hills to a dam takes us to Sam Roi Yot National Park having spectacular limestone mountain scenery and freshwater marshes. The last leg of the ride is along the beach to Kui Buri.

  4. Day 4: Ban Krut

    After a hearty breakfast, we begin riding off-the-beaten track with spectacular views of winding paths, wooden fishing boats, coconut groves, palm oil plantation.

    Later we take a shuttle and head towards the coast of Bang Saphan to beat busy highway.

  5. Day 5: Ban Krut

    After a hearty breakfast, we leave the hotel at 08.45am and take the van transfer to the Bangsaphan pier. Alternatively, we wake up in the early morning and leave the hotel at 07.00am to cycle about 30km to Bangsaphan Pier. Today is an easy ride along deserted coastline passing through a little fishing community. We then take a speed boat Koh Talu island where you can spend time either snorkeling or kayaking. This day is planned as a semi-rest day and savour the island life at leisure.

  6. Day 6: Saplee

    Today bike in the tropical countryside, past tree-canopied rice farms and lush green fields and paddies.

  7. Day 7: Arunothai Beach

    We bike on over gradual hills in the laidback coastal countryside. We stop by for lunch along the way and then continue cycle along the coast to Chumphon.

  8. Day 8: Laem Thong Beach

    Today is a long day and we start biking on the backroads of the city to avoid the highway. Later, bike through coconut and palm plantation and typical tropical coastal side. witness rubber and palm plantation with some fishing villages.

  9. Day 9: Cheow Lan Lake

    Today we bike towards the small inland town of Ban Ka Thun leaving behind the Gulf of Thailand we have traversed so far.

    Once we reach our destination, we take a shuttle transfer to Ratchaprabha Dam for stunning sunset view over Cheow Lan Reservoir.

  10. Day 10: Khao Sok National Park

    We continue riding towards Khao Sok National Park, one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Enjoy your time here by walk or trek or spend time with Elephants.

    We keep following the mountain road and arrive at coastal road, riding south for a fine beach time at Khao Lak.

    You are free to spend the day at leisure in Khao Lak’s popular beachside cafes, restaurants and bars where the fresh seafood is definitely worth a try or take a dive trip to the world famous Similan Islands.

    This is our last day of riding along Thailand coast and it’s a long ride. Enjoy it to the fullest.

    We ride along canals, past palm and rubber plantations, shrimp farms and along the beach to the bridge that connects the island of Phuket with the mainland. Some riding is on the main highway. The last leg is with views of the Andaman Sea.

    Enjoy Phuket at leisure. Extend your stay here or depart as per your onward travel plans.

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below –

Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash. Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund. Cancellations will be accepted only by email. Note: Western Mountains reserves the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
