Arrive Johannesburg - Ngala Tented Camp

On arrival into Johannesburg, you will be met and assisted to your light aircraft flight to the Timbavati to begin your time on safari in South Africa. Upon landing, you will be met by your guide and game driven to Ngala Tented. On arrival, you will be introduced to the camp before being shown to your tented room. Later you will be able to enjoy your first safari activity with a game drive to start exploring this wildlife-rich reserve.

On safari at Ngala Private Reserve

During your time at Ngala you will be able to go on twice-daily safari activities including game drives (both day and night) with an experienced guide and accompanying tracker. Traverse the private reserve in the Timbavati in search of lion and leopard that favour this environment, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, rhino and much more. In addition to game drives, you are able to get out on walking safaris which are a great way to take in your surroundings and learn more about the bush and its inhabitants. Between activities you can relax back at Ngala with spa treatments on offer and the gorgeous pool to take a dip in. A highlight of staying here is sure to be the opportunity to spend a night in their treehouse - ask your Destination Specialist about including this if you haven't already discussed it.

On safari at Ngala Private Reserve

A unique experience tonight as you spend a night under the stars in the luxurious Ngala Treehouse. Designed to give you a wild yet comfortable and highly memorable experience, this is well-worth including in your safari for a truly off-grid night. You will end your afternoon game drive with sundowner drinks and snacks before enjoy a picnic dinner (and optional midnight snacks). Slumbering under the African night sky allows you to truly connect with your surroundings as you listen to the various goings on of the bush which surrounds you. A natural wake up call of the bush, thanks to the sunrise heralds the end of your adventure and you will be collected by your guide ready for another adventure.

Ngala Tented Camp - Kruger Mpumalanga - &Beyond Benguerra Island

Early this morning you will be driven to the airstrip in time for your light aircraft flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. Upon arrival you will be assisted to check in for your international flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique (please note this flight is not included). Upon landing in Vilanculos you will need to clear immigration before being met and assisted to your helicopter flight to Benguerra Island. An incredibly scenic flight over to the Bazaruto Archipelago, you will want to keep your camera handy. Upon landing you will be met and transferred to &Beyond Benguerra Island where you will be welcomed to the lodge. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or you may wish to embark on your first activity.

Exploring &Beyond Benguerra Island

Indulge in the relaxing surroundings of Benguerra Island, home to white sands and crystal clear waters. There is plenty to keep you busy during your stay with one of the most unspoilt areas for marine exploration on the planet with exceptional diving and snorkeling on offer. One of the most unique experiences on offer is the chance to swim with horses, as you ride bareback into the warm Indian ocean or for those who prefer a more relaxed pace, choose from a castaway picnic and a sunset dhow cruise to name just a few.
