  1. Day 1:ARRIVE NORWAY

    ARRIVE NORWAY

    Travel from Oslo to the Lofoten Islands, crossing the Polar Circle Line en route, and landing on these spectacular islands by small plane. Take a private transfer to your lodge which will be your base for exploring the surrounding areas for the next few days.

  2. Day 2-3: ARCTIC ACTIVIES

    Spend the next two days exploring the region by boat, car or foot, enjoying scenic journeys through fjords and mountains, looking out for wildlife en route and learning about the area's local history. Take in panoramic vistas, soaring eagles and unspolit white beaches as you explore. Back at the lodge, dine on fine cuisine and discuss your day's adventures in the lodge.

  3. Day 4: LOFOTEN ISLANDS - TROMSO

    After breakfast, transfer back to the airport for your flight to Tromso. This is the gateway to the Lyngen Alps, your next location for Arctic exploration. Enjoy a three-hour walking tour of this fascinating city and take the cable car to see the region from above. In the afternoon, take the scenic drive along fjordside roads to Lyngen Lodge your home for the next few nights. Check in and receive a pair of warming slippers to wear for your stay, before taking in your stunning lodge and finishing the day with a delicious meal prepared by the chef.

  4. Day 5-6: EXPLORING LYNGEN

    Choose from a number of activities available from the lodge (dependent on the season). Enjoy dog sledding, snow shoeing and ice fishing in winter, or hiking, kayaking, fly-fishing and horse riding in summer. When not out exploring the area, enjoy the on-site hot tub and sauna or look out for birdlife flitting over the fjord.

  5. Day 7: CROSSING THE ARCTIC OCEAN

    Say goodbye to Lyngen Lodge and travel back to Tromso to catch your flight up to Longyearbyen in Svalbard. During this flight you will cross the Arctic Ocean and landing in Longyearbyen you will be at 78 degrees north. Take in the colourful sights of this northern town and enjoy lunch at one of the many eclectic restaurants before settling in to your hotel. In the evening you can take an Arctic boat expedition around the glaciers, looking out for Arctic wildlife in the midnight sun.

  6. Day 8-9 : EXPLORING THE ARCHIPELAGO

    Over the next two days, explore the fjords and glaciers around Longyearbyen by boat; heading out to discover old mining settlements and seeking out Arctic wildlife such as walrus and whales.

    Enjoy a final breakfast and do any last minute souvenir shopping in Longyearbyen before catching your flight back to Oslo.

Essential

  • It is mandatory to carry the original government-issued any valid ID cards for Indian nationals and original passports for foreign nationals.
  • Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen lotions.
  • T-shirt, shirt or blouse - long sleeves and collars help to protect from the sun and mosquitoes (Neutral or Non-bright colored)
  • Comfortable walking shoes (or boots) and socks.
  • Preventative pharmaceuticals.

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

 

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

 

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
