With five national parks, two of which are designated World Natural Heritage Sites by UNESCO, and several wildlfe and bird sanctuaries, Assam is a blessed land for wildlife enthusiasts. At the heart of it's mind boggling biodiveristy is the rich topography of Assam with it's lush hills and valleys dissected by the majestic Brahmaputra and it's many tributaries.

National Parks of Assam

Assam is home to over 180 species of mammals, including rare and endangered species like the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, the royal Bengal tiger, the golden langur and hoolock gibbon, and a spectacular range of avifauna.

Assam's most famous parks are Kaziranga and Manas. Both were conferred World Heritage Status in 1985.

  1. Day 1- REACH DIBRUGARH, DRIVE TO DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK

    Our driver will receive you from the Dibrugarh Airport/ Railway Station. we leave for Dibru Saikhowa National Park, which is an hour drive from Dibrugarh. The National Park is famous for its moist semi evergreen forests, wild horses, and migratory birds. The evening is free for leisure activities, take a sip of Chai and enjoy the tranquil surface of the river. Your stay overnight will be in a boat house in Guijan ghat.

  2. Day 2- ACTIVITIES IN DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK, STAY OVERNIGHT

    After breakfast, we take you for a boat ride in the Dibru river – a tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra. A walk through within the national park will give you a chance to spot Wild Horses running around, watching some migratory birds who come all the way flying to Dibru Saikhowa from other parts of the world. The evening is free for leisure activities. Stay overnight in the same Boat House.

  3. Day 3- DRIVE TO KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK, ATTEND CULTURAL EVENT

    After breakfast, we will start for Kaziranga National Park, home to the one horned Rhinoceros and hold a record population of more than 80% of the one horned Rhinos in the world. Kaziranga also has the highest density of tiger population in any protected area in the world. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, we check into the wildlife resort. In the evening we will organise cultural events for all our guests. Overnight stay at Borgos resort.

  4. Day 4- ELEPHANT AND JEEP SAFARI IN KAZIRANGA, STAY OVERNIGHT

    Early morning, we start for the Elephant ride. The ride will take you through the jungles, increasing the chance of spotting various animals including Tigers. Jeep Safari in the Kohora range will also await for you. Kohora Range is famous for varous endangered animals like One Horned Rhinocerous, Wild Buffalo, Royal Bengal Tigers, etc. The evening will be spend at some locals house, where you can have some Chai and interact with them in person. Overnight stay at the same resort.

  5. Day 5- JEEP SAFARI IN BAGORI RANGE OF KAZIRANGA, DRIVE TO NAMERI

    Early morning, we will go for another Jeep safari but this time it will be the western range of Bagori. Bagori range is also famous for spotting endangered species, in case you didn’t spot them in Kohora. After the safari, we will head towards Nameri National Park. Nameri is famous for its elephants and other animals including tigers, leopards, gaurs, wild pigs, sambars, etc and also for being a bird watchers paradise. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at Nameri Eco Lodge.

  6. Day 6- RAFTING IN NAMERI, DRIVE TO ORANG NATIONAL PARK.

    After breakfast, we go for rafting in the Jai Bharali River. The rafting route is 13 km long and takes about 3 hours. The experience will be tiresome yet enjoyable. After we are done with Nameri, we head towards our next destination – Orang National Park. Orang is an ideal getaway for those looking for a quiet, yet adventrous location. It also makes an excellent photography location when you see a wild boar dashes into the bushes, frightening a mob of deer behind your back. Overnight stay at Prashanti Tourist Lodge.

     

  7. Day 7- DRIVE TO MANAS NATIONAL PARK, CULTURAL DANCE BY BODO TRIBE

    After breakfast, we will head for our journey to Manas National Park. The drive from Orang to Manas is of 2 hour. The National Park is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, a Project Tiger reserve, an elephant reserve and a biosphere reserve. Located in the Himalayan foothills, it is known as Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan. The park is known for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur and pygmy hog. Manas is also famous for its population of the wild water buffalo. Upon reaching you will check-in to the resort. The evening is reserved for a special cultural dance performed by the Bodo tribe of Assam. Overnight stay at Musa Resort.

  8. Day 8- JEEP SAFARI IN MANAS NATIONAL PARK, STAY OVERNIGHT

    After breakfast, we go for the most awaiting Jeep Safari in Manas National Park. A safari to the UNESCO Natural World Heritage site will give the chance to spot some endangered endemic wildlife. After exploring the park, we come back to the resort. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at the same resort.

  9. Day 9 -DRIVE TO GUWAHATI

    After Breakfast, we will drop you at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey.

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
