Maasai Mara's animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people Naivasha is a market town in Nakuru County, Kenya, lying 47 miles north west of Nairobi.

  1. Day 1: Nairobi /Maasai Mara

    On this day you will either be picked from your hotel or the airport before proceeding to Maasai Mara across the Great Rift Valley through picturesque Suswa Hills on to Narok town where you will stop over for your lunch. Through Narok town, proceed to the Maasai Mara just in time for dinner at the Lodge.

  2. Day 2: Masai Mara

    You will have a pre breakfast game drive where you will be able to catch nocturnal animals before they return to their habitats. After a full breakfast you will then have a morning game viewing drive where you will be able to see wildlife in their authentic natural habitats. You will also experience the rich, well- endowed Mara Nature. You will have a picnic lunch along the mara river where you will see hippos and crocodiles. You will also take a guided walk to experience the serene Mara and be in direct touch with nature. Thereafter, an optional visit the maasai village where you will experience the rich Maasai culture including their famous “jumps”. You will also be able to learn more about their homesteads and their traditional culture. You will then head to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

  3. Day 3: Masai Mara/Lake Naivasha

    After breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed and have a game viewing drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve then drive to Lake Naivasha which is among the fresh water lakes along the rift valley fault line. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. You then take bikes and cycle to the Hell's Gate Park past the Fischer's towers. You visit the gorges accompanied by a local guide. Here you see giraffes, Zebras and lots of buffaloes. Return to the lodge in the afternoon, and just relax at the pool-side.

  4. Day 4: Nakuru Day Trip

    After breakfast at the lodge at 0700hrs, you will head for Nakuru National Park for a game drive. Lunch will be served at Sarova Lion Hill. After lunch, you will head back to Naivasha with an enroute game drive.

  5. Day 5: Naivasha/Nairobi

    Click here to expand

    Wake up at 0800 hours for your breakfast at the Lodge. After breakfast, drive slowly again passing through the Great Rift Valley for another brief stop-over. You enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley under you and the distant horizon. This is perfect for photography and you can take nice shots. Drive back to Nairobi early afternoon and you will be dropped at your hotel or airport. END

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
