This trip lets you experience the beauty of Botswana without compromising on luxury. You’ll spend six nights in the country, staying in two open-air tented camps set in the wilderness that provide the perfect starting-off point for your wildlife safari. You’ll be walking, driving, flying and cruising through Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Linyanti regions, home to both predator and prey. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for Africa’s “Big Five” - lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalo – as well as giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, baboons, antelope, wildebeest and wild dogs, to name but a few species.

  1. Day 1: ARRIVE MAUN - OKAVANGO DELTA

    Upon arrival into Maun International Airport, you will need to clear immigration before being met and assisted to your onward light aircraft flight to the Okavango Delta to begin your time on safari in Botswana. Upon landing in the Vumbura Airstrip you will be met by your guide and game drove to Duba Explorers. On arrival, you will be introduced to the camp and briefed on your stay. You will have the chance to have lunch and relax before going on your first safari activity this afternoon.

  2. Day 2 & 3: ON SAFARI AT DUBA EXPLORERS

    Enjoy your time on safari in the 33,000-hectare private Duba Concession with a variety of activities to choose from. You will be able to depart on early morning game drives in search of the resident game which includes lion, wild dogs, elephant, leopard and buffalo amongst many other species. You will then have the chance to relax after lunch before going out on an evening game drive. Also on offer are walking safaris, exploring the delta channels by mokoro or motorboat (water levels permitting). For the utmost in flexibility and exclusivity we recommend booking a private vehicle and guide, do let your Destination Specialist know if this is of interest.

  3. Day 4: OKAVANGO DELTA - SELINDA

    Today, at a time to be advised locally, you will be driven to the Vumbura Airstrip in time for your scenic light aircraft flight to the Selinda Airstrip. Upon landing you will be met by your guide and game driven to Selinda Explorers. On arrival into camp, you will be met and shown to your tent where you can enjoy lunch and a rest before embarking on your first safari activity.

  4. Day 5 & 6: ON SAFARI AT SELINDA EXPLORERS

    Spend your days on safari exploring the private 130,000 hectare Selinda Reserve which is a game-rich area home to large herds of elephant along with sable and roan antelope, lion, leopard and particularly impressive sightings of African wild dog. In addition to traditional morning and evening game drives, you can enjoy walking safaris and canoeing (water levels dependent). The fabulous position of the camp also makes it the perfect spot to while the afternoon away on an armchair safari.   5. Day 7: SELINDA - KASANE - DEPART KASANE

    Today, at a time to be advised, you will be game driven to the Selinda Airstrip in time for your light aircraft flight to Kasane. Upon arrival into Kasane you will be assisted to check in for your onward international flight marking the end of your time on safari in Botswana.

Essential

  • It is mandatory to carry the original government-issued any valid ID cards for Indian nationals and original passports for foreign nationals.
  • Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen lotions.
  • T-shirt, shirt or blouse - long sleeves and collars help to protect from the sun and mosquitoes (Neutral or Non-bright colored)
  • Comfortable walking shoes (or boots) and socks.
  • Preventative pharmaceuticals.

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
