  1. Day 1: Reporting at Kabini by Afternoon

Depending on where you're coming from, you should get at Kabini around the afternoon. We check into the famed and picturesque Kabini River Lodge at Karapura as soon as we get in Kabini (run by Jungle Lodges and Resorts). Relax a little in your tents before assembling for lunch. After lunch, we'll have a fast welcome session that includes a round of introductions to get to know the group, a tour and wildlife orientation at Kabini, and a sample of what we'll strive to cover as part of wildlife photography. We depart for our first safari of our Kabini wildlife photography tour in the late afternoon. We climb into our assigned car and head out into the woods for an evening safari. As we witness and shoot the numerous kinds of life in the forest - the powerful elephants, the huge herds of Chital, the colourful birds...possibly even a big cat – the pleasant breeze and the greenery of the forest will keep us company. Following the safari, we gather for dinner, exchange our experiences with fellow guests, and ask our tour wildlife photographer for short insight before retiring for the day.

  2. Day 3: Early Morning Safari and Departure by Afternoon

Today is the tour's final morning. For our last and fourth (morning) safaris, we walk out into the forest to capture the woodland's beauty (in the backdrop of playful morning sunlight). We have a hearty breakfast when we return to the lodge, and then it's time to say our goodbyes to the wonderful Kabini forest and its wildlife, leaving with many memories and (hopefully) a camera (and memory cards) full of photos.
