  1. Day 01 - Transfer in Lima / Overnight - Lima

    Upon arrival into Lima International Airport, you will be met by our representative and private driver and will be transferred to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Peru trip. You will also receive a contact information sheet with all the hotel details as well as our offices contact information for each city and a 24-hour emergency number.

  2. Day 02 - Half Day Lima City Tour / Overnight - Lima

    Get ready for a busy morning, starting with a guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and important sites in Lima, the “City of Kings”. The tour includes Lima’s Historical Center, passing by Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Religious Art Museum (closed on Sunday and Saturday pm, Santo Domingo Convent is provided instead on these days) as well as San Francisco Monastery and its famous underground crypts known as the Catacombs. Finally, visit the residential Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana, a Ceremonial and Administrative Center of the Lima Cult ure built in the II Century A.C. that the Incas considered as “Ñaupallaqta” or Sacred Town. Also visit El Olive Grove Park with olive trees brought from Spain in the XV Century, the Central Park of Miraflores and El Parque del Amor, or Peruvian Love Park. The Love Park, located on the cliffs of Miraflores overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is a beautiful natural lookout, where you can see the waves of the Pacific rolling in towards the coast below and the Morro Solar in Chorrillos at a distance, with the coast extending further along the bay until the port of Callao. This is also the perfect spot for a romantic view of the setting sun in the late afternoon, right in front of you.

  3. Day 03 - Arqueological Museum + Lunch / Overnight - Lima

    Start your day with breakfast it’s a big day ahead. The National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology, and History of Peru is the country’s first and largest state museum. The assembly of a national collection of artifacts began in the second quarter of the 19th century, though it lacked a permanent home. Much of it was plundered during the War of the Pacific. In 1905 the National History Museum was housed in Lima’s Exhibition Palace. The National Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology was established in 1945, and in 1992 the National Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology merged with the National History Museum to form The National Museum of Anthropology, Archaeology, and History of Peru. The museum offers a comprehensive overview of Peru’s cultural history, from prehistoric times to the present day. The permanent collection includes tens of thousands of ceramic, textile, stone, metal, and wood objects, tools, and technologies. It also contains more than 2,000 musical instruments and the remains of ancient humans.

  4. Day 04 - Flight from Lima to Cusco / Overnight - Cusco

    Your local tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at a pre-determined time and transfer you to the Lima Airport to board your flight to Cusco. Our representative will assist you with check -in procedures and all departure formalities. Flight Lima – Cusco: Many tout this flight path as one of the most spectacular scenic flights to be experienced anywhere in the world. During the course of the flight the major glaciated peaks of the Cordillera Vilcabamba and Vilcanota ranges can be seen, surrounded by an agricultural patchwork quilt of tranquil Andean fields and small hamlets (some of which we will explore in the coming days). The approach to Cusco Airport is unique in that it requires the pilot to make a sweeping 180-degree turn to enter the valley, providing a staggering panorama of the Inca city center.

  5. Day 05 - Trekking to Chinchero, Ollantaytambo / Overnight - Camping

    At around 6:00 am our private transportation will pick you up from your hotel i n Cusco, and will take you to the village of Chinchero. This typical village that still possesses a lot of Inca ruins, is one of the main places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. From this village, we will follow the Vilcanota River until we arrive in the village of Ollantaytambo (2700m/8850ft). This village had an important fortress during the reign of Manco Capac, especially when the Spanish began to gain land in this region in 1535. From Ollantaytambo, we will climb the pass of Abra Malaga (4350m/14271ft). We will arrive at this pass at around midday. At this pass, you will be given mountain bikes which you can use to make the descent on paved roads in the midst of the jungle (when the weather doesn’t allow it, we will do this part of the trek by car). We will ride our mountain bikes until we reach the little community of Carrizales where we will interact with local people, and enjoy a little rest. After our well-deserved rest, we will continue to descend with our mountain bikes through attractive villages in the midst of the tropical forest, which will take us roughly 3 hours. On the way we will visit the archaeological site of Wamanmarka (1890m/6200ft). After this, we will offer you the time to enjoy the beautiful landscape with its typical vegetation and marvelous fauna. Once we have arrived at Maranura (1110m/3641ft), we will stay at a family house, as you spend your afternoon getting to know a local rural family from the forest. Here, you will have the opportunity to witness the cultivation and processing of coffee and coca leaves, depending on the season.

  6. Day 06 - Trekking to Maranura, Santa Teresa / Overnight – Camping

    We will wake up at about 6:00 am to enjoy delicious local coffee and fruit juices (accor ding to the season) as well as a succulent breakfast made by a local family at approximately 7:30 am. We will walk along the bank of the Vilcanota River, where the landscape becomes a bit steeper. This will begin one of the ancient Inca trails. Here we will also find abysses of 800 meters deep. We take our lunch in the village of Qellomayo, after 1 hour of hiking away. We will be able to see the local fauna from very close, in particular hummingbirds, parrots, eagles etc. We will also have the chance to pick local fruits such as oranges, mandarins, pacay (Andean fruit), mangos, cacao, coffee, etc. and continue along the bank of the river to arrive at the hot tubs of Cocalmayo, close to the village of Santa Teresa. After having enjoyed the hot springs we continue to Santa Teresa (1850m). Here, we will have dinner and stay overnight.

  7. Day 07 - Trekking to Hydroelectrique / Overnight - Aguas Calientes

    In the morning, we will have the opportunity to do a Zipline (on the supplement, the reservation must be done directly through your agency while booking the whole trek). This is a unique and adventurous experience sure to get your adrenaline pumping as you pass by one side of the valley to the other on a cable. The zip lining activities begin at 7 am until 10 am. At that time, there will be a bus taking us to the Hydroelectrical station where we will have our lunch. We will continue our trek on the bank of the Urubamba River for about 3 hours until we arrive at Aguas Calientes, a little town at the foot of Machu Picchu. On our way to this town, we will visit the natural park of Mandor where we will discover a variety of local flowers and, if we are lucky, local bird life as well.

  8. Day 08 - Machu Picchu Excursion + Lunch / Overnight – Cusco

    You will leave our hotel after breakfast and board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is one of the most-visited sites worldwide. Machu Picchu dazzles all who visit it with its beauty and mystery. You will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as you explore this magical citadel along with your guide. After the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch. At the scheduled time, you will be picked up and taken to the Aguas Calientes train Station, where you will board your return train to Poroy Station. Upon your arrival at the train Station, a transport service will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in the city.

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
