The vibe of the entire hamlet is so surreal that it allures even the intermediate trekkers. Chopta is also the commencing point for trekking to Tungnath, the third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometers away. The unique placement of Chopta offers panoramic views of Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba peaks. The Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila trek is a popular adventure activity that is enchanting and full of adrenaline. The most reviving experience of the trek happens when it passes through jungles and grasslands and ends on top of the peak where you witness the resplendent beauty of the gigantic Himalayan range. The best time to begin Chandrashila peak trek is in the morning. Often in the afternoon, clouds and rain can blur the beautiful 360 degrees view of the entire Himalayan valley.

However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash. Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash. Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund. Cancellations will be accepted only by email.
Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
