Explore Chile over nine nights starting the bustling city of Santiago before moving on to the outstanding natural phenomenon that is the Atacama Desert.   1. DAY 1 ARRIVE SANTIAGO

    Arrive at Santiago Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure for you to settle-in gently after your long flight.

  2. DAY 2 SANTIAGO - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

    This morning you take a flight from Santiago to Calama in Northern Chile where you will transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, an oasis town in the Atacama Desert. On route, you are presented with the stunning scenery of the Salt Mountain Range and the Licancabur Volcano in the background. In the afternoon, visit the Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley) so called because of its similarity to the moon's surface, and the Valley de la Muerte (Death Valley), another astonishing natural formation carved out by wind, rain, and the temperature changes of the desert. End the day with a spectacular sunset.

  3. DAY 3 SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

    Travel to the awe-inspiring natural wonder of the Atacama Salt Flats, making a stop at Toconao, a colonial town built entirely from a volcanic rock called Liparita along the way. The Salt Flats are located in Los Flamencos National Reserve, and home to three types of flamingos among other migratory birds. A visit to Chaxa lagoon to see these magnificent birds in their natural habitat makes for incredible photography with breath-taking backdrops.

  4. DAY 4 SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

    After a very early start, travel to the dramatic Tatio Geysers. They are found at an altitude of 4300 metres (14,190 ft). There are more than 80 vents, that rise into pillars of steam that rise up to heights of 12 metres (40 ff), and dance in the golden rays of the early morning. Surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes and this remarkable geothermal show, breakfast is served whilst you watch. On the way back to the village, there is a brief stop in the hamlet of Machuca, and there is the opportunity to spot families of viscachas and if you are lucky, foxes and Andean ostrich.

  5. DAY 5 SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA - SANTIAGO

    This morning is a relaxing morning as you head to the natural hot springs at Puritama. In a land where water is scarce, this is a truly enlightening experience. Hidden at the bottom of a steep-sided gorge, surrounded by vegetation, the River Puritama has eight natural pools, with water which has an average temperature of 33C at an altitude of 3500 metres (11,482 feet). Return to the hotel before transferring to Calama airport for your flight back to Santiago.

  6. DAY 6 SANTIAGO - EASTER ISLAND

    Transfer to the airport for you morning flight to Easter Island. On arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport in traditional Rapa Nui style with flower necklaces and taken to your stunning hotel. The afternoon is free for you to relax after your journey or head out to explore the island.

  7. DAYS 7-8 EASTER ISLAND

    Spend the next two days discovering this incredible and mysterious island through a wide range of activities included in your stay. Head along the Moai Route to admire the mystery of the famous statues, visit Ahu Akahanga, the burial site of the first king of the island, and the Rano Raraku Volcano. You may want to go trekking or bike riding in search of the beautiful natural landscapes that populate the island; explore the maze of lava tunnels or find secret white sand beaches and snorkel in crystal clear blue waters. Although Rapa Nui is a tiny island you will never be short of something to do.

  8. DAY 9 EASTER ISLAND - SANTIAGO

    Today you head out for one last morning exploration before you are taken to the airport for your afternoon flight to Santiago. Met on arrival at the airport, you are taken to your hotel for one final night before your flight home the next day.

  • T-shirt, shirt or blouse - long sleeves and collars help to protect from the sun and mosquitoes (Neutral or Non-bright colored)

Refund

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

 

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
  • Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

 

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
