The road is rated as a state highway and is convenient to travel. Buses, cabs and private vehicles travel regularly between Vagamon and major Kerala cities like Trivandram, Kochi and Munnar. 

By Train- The nearest railway station from Vagamon is at Kuttikanam at a distance of 22 km from. Other neighboring railway stations are at Palai – 33 km away, Thodupuzha – 39 km from Vagamon, Kumily – 45 km and Kottayam – 65 km. Road connectivity from all these stations to Vagamon is quite good.

By Flight- The nearest airport to Vagamon is the Cochin International Airport which is located around 75 km away. Buses, cabs and private vehicles ply between the airport and Vagamon.
