Types of Spain Visa

• Tourist visa: An applicant can apply for a tourist visa if he or she is visiting Spain for the purpose of tourism. The maximum stay allowed in the country on a tourist visa is 90 days. The tourist visa holder will have to show proof to the authorities that he or she is visiting the country strictly for tourism purposes. The approval to tourist visa in Spain takes about 10-15 days therefore candidates should submit their applications at least 15-20 days before the date of journey.
• Business visa: If a person is travelling to Spain for the purpose of business then he or she needs to apply for a business visa. The business visa is valid for a period of 90 days. The time required for getting approval for a business visa to Spain is 10-15 days.
• Family/friend visit Visa: A person can apply for a family/friend visit visa if he or she is travelling to Spain to visit a family member or a friend. 
• Employment visa: If a person is travelling to Spain for the purpose of employment, he or she can apply for an employment visa.

The main requirements for a visa to Spain are:

• Two biometric photos.
• Your passport.

• Proof of accommodation.

Additional documents

If the applicant is employed:

• Salary slips for the last 3 months
• Original leave letter from employer

If the applicant is a company owner or self-employed:

• Certificate of registration of the company / Certificate of Incorporation (MOA / Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership deed, etc)
• Covering letter on the company letterhead and financial documents

If the couple is travelling together:

• Marriage Certificate / Notarized affidavit on a Rs 100 stamp paper declaring the marriage details
• Photocopy of your wedding card

Note:

• Visa will be processed within 15 - 18 working days post document submission however visa approval time is at the discretion of the consulate
• If the applicant's documents have to be collected from Mumbai, an additional courier fee of Rs 300 will be applicable. In case of places other than Mumbai, an additional courier fee of Rs 700 will be applicable on Iceland tourist visa fees.

Visa Fees

• For a tourist visa to Spain, the fee is Rs. 5851 for each person.
• For a business visa to Spain, the fee is Rs. 5851 for each individual applicant.
• For a family/friend visit visa to Spain, the fee is Rs. Rs.5851 for each person.
• For an employment visa, the fees range from Rs.4275 to Rs.5130.
