The Sathodi falls, locally known as 'mini- Niagra' lies in the Uttara Kannada district of Yellapur, in Karnataka. Several unnamed streams near Kallaramane ghat unite together to form the Sathodi Falls. Until a few years back the non-locals were completely unaware of its existence until it started attracting tourists. The Sathodi waterfall is 15 meters tall and appears to be rectangular.

These exquisite waterfalls run through the forest, and there is half a kilometer of an enjoyable walk which takes around 20 minutes from the entrance & parking spot to the actual falls. There are accurately placed signboards for convenience. At the entrance, you will have to pay INR 5 per head. As you walk for about 10 minutes, you will clearly hear the sound of cascading water. The path that leads to the waterfall is very narrow, and you will have to walk slowly. The waterfall runs all the year round. The waterfall has a natural pool where swimming in the water is possible.

The waterfalls are rapturing enough, while the road which leads to the waterfalls from Yellapur is an enjoyable jungle ride. The only high ground clearance vehicles can go through this route. After falling, the water from this fall joins the backwaters of Kodasalli dam.
