Situated amidst the Aravalli mountain range, the Sariska Sanctuary is dotted with grasslands, dry deciduous forests, and rocky landscapes. Sariska Sanctuary, famous for the majestic Royal Bengal Tigers, is the first tiger reserve to successfully relocate tigers. Every year many tourists arrive in Sariska for a wildlife safari to enjoy the beautiful environment of this sanctuary and to see the variety of animals. One of the top places to see in Alwar, Sariska National Park is no less than a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Situated in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, Sariska Sanctuary is spread over an area of about 866 square kilometers. This forest got the status of Wildlife Sanctuary in 1955 and in 1982 this wildlife sanctuary was declared a National Park. After this, this sanctuary was made a Tiger Reserve in 1978 under Project Tiger and thanks to Project Tiger, today you can hear the roar of 23 tigers in Sariska during wildlife safari.
In Sariska Sanctuary, located amidst the Aravalli mountain range, you will get a chance to see animals like Bengal tiger, wild-cat, leopard, striped hyena, golden jackal, sambar, nilgai, chinkara during wildlife safari. Apart from this, you can also enjoy the views of flying vultures and eagles from the palace built on the hilltop present in Sariska.
The best time to enjoy a wildlife safari in Sariska santuary is from October to March. Because at this time you can spot a variety of animals in the forest doing sunbathing.

Bala Fort
The Bala Fort, built by Hasan Khan Mewati in the 15th century, is situated in the lap of the Aravalli Hills of the city of Alwar. This fort is known as a major tourist attraction of the city of Alwar.

Airport: To reach Sariska National Park by flight, you have to take a flight to Jaipur which is 110 km from Sariska National Park. After reaching Jaipur you can reach Sariska National Park by taxi or bus from there.
Train: To reach Sariska National Park by train, you have to take a train from your city to Alwar and after that, you can reach Sariska National Park by Bus or Taxi.
Bus: To reach Sariska National Park by road You can take a bus from Jaipur, Jodhpur, and other cities of Rajasthan to Alwar, and from there you can reach Sariska National Park by taxi or you can also hire a cab from your city to reach the park directly.
