Most of the house reef was reconstructed during the construction of the resort. The biggest draw is Hanifaru Bay, where whale sharks and manta rays come to feed in August and September. The spa has acquired a new main entrance, but overall, this center seems to lack some love and attention. Popular excursions include snorkeling, dolphin cruises, tours to inhabited islands, diving lessons and fishing. Free Wi-Fi is available at the main bar, pool area, a la carte restaurant and sports ground.

The resort is located at a distance of 110 km from male International Airport. The resort can be reached only by domestic seaplane or special charter plane service.
