Day 1 Kathgodam to Lohajung


Day One Kathgodam to Lohajung with altitude 7,662 ft. Day 2 Lohargunj to Didna Village


Trek distance of 6.5 km i.e., 7,662 to 8,045 ft, you have to reach Didna before lunch, accommodation in village homestay, No market in this place but Network is available moreover Till ruan bagad bridge gradual descent i.e., 4.5 km, store water in your water bottle at ruan bagad bridge from Neel Ganga river and After ruan bagad bridge two hours of a steep ascent toward Didna Village i.e., 2 km.

Day 3 Didna Village to Ali Bugyal


Trek distance 10.5 km, 8,045 to 11,320 ft, Accommodation in the tent, Carry water and or both, moreover reach Ali bugyal by late noon, Keep your wind as well as waterproof handy. Besides that, tolpani is the endpoint for drinking water where you get fresh water to drink. The first half of is through oak then rhododendron forest (Steep ascent) and the Second half of the trek is through big alpine meadows.

Day 4 Ali Bugyal to Patar Nachauni


Trek Distance 7 km i.e11,320 to 12,818 ft. Easiest day of the trek. Moreover reach Patar Nachauni before lunch, Ali Bugyal to Bedni Bugyal distance of 2 km, Bedni Bugyal to Ghora Lotani distance of 4 km, Ghora Lotani to Patar Nachauni distance of 1 km, Moreover spend some time at Ghora Lotani good for acclimatization and Ware comfortable clothing this is the stop where most of the trekkers get Acute Mountain Sickness.

Day 5 Patar Nachauni to Bhagwabasa

Trek distance 4 km i.e., 12,818 to 14,117 ft., Accommodation in the tent, Reached Campsite by lunch, Moreover Patar Nachauni to Kalu Vinayak Tempel first 1 km is gradual ascent after that rest 1.5 km is steep ascent, Kalu Vinayak to Bhagwabasa distance is 1.5 km, become difficult in May and June. Besides that, there will be snow on the trail in May and Jun as well as in September and October it will be a rocky trail.

Day 6 Bhagwabasa to Roopkund


Trek distance 10 km, 14,117 to 15755 ft moreover accommodation in tent, Start your trek in morning by 4:00 am, Climb to Roopkund is 3 km, Challenging day of the trek, Carry energy bars, or and water, Breakfast will be at Roopkund top, Reach Bhagwabasa back by lunchtime, Reach Patar Nachauni camp by evening, In Aug, Sep, Oct can see skeleton but no snow and In May and Jun snow will be there but you can't see the human skeleton.

Day 7 Patar Nachauni to Lohajung


Trek distance 15 km i.e 12,818 to 7,662 ft., Accommodation in guest house, Patar Nachauni to Ghora Lotani distance of 1 km, Ghora Lotani to Bedni Bugyal distance of 4 km , Bedni Bugyal to Doliya Dhar distance of 0.5 km gradual walk, Doliya Dhar to Ghaeroli Patal distance of 3 km steep descent, Ghaeroli Patal to Neel Ganga distance of 4 km steep descent moreover Neel Ganga to Ranka Dhar distance of 1 km moderate ascent , Ranka That to Wan Village road head distance of 1.5 km gradual descent, Wan Village to Loharjung required 45 minutes drive, road condition is not good) and Route - Patar Nachauni after that Ghora Lotani then Bedni Bugyal Doliya Dhar - Ghaeroli Patal - Neel Ganga - Ranka Dhar - Wan Village lastly drive toward Lohajung.

Day 8 Loharjung to Kathgodam


Required 10 hrs drive, Distance 210 km, Reach Kathgodam by 6:00 pm. And On the way to Kathgodam at Kausani, you can buy herbal tea and some souvenir. Roopkund trek in Seasons.
