On the top of a hill above Parga town, the remains of an old Venetian Castle, built in the 11th century, will be found. By air: To reach Parga by air you first need to take a flight from the nearest Ioannina National Airport which is about 103 km away from Parga or Aktion National Airport in Preveza which is about 65 km away from Parga. After reaching the airport you can take a taxi to reach Parga.

By bus: You can also take the bus to Parga. Several KTEL buses run from all over the Greek mainland such as Athens, Igoumenitsa, and Preveza. The buses operate daily from these places. However, from Athens, you can only reach Preveza and from there you need to take another bus to reach Parga. 

By taxi: You can also reach Parga via National Greek Road Athens. from Athens. From Athens, the distance of Parga is about 433 km. One can also use a taxi to explore the town and its surroundings. You can book a taxi online or rent a taxi from the entrance of the Athens airport because several taxis are available for rent at the airport. 

By boat: Reaching Parga by boat is also a great option. One can simply take a boat from Corfu. While traveling by boat you can also explore beautiful islands close to Parga and experience the beauty of nature.

Since the airport is far away from Parga it is better to reach Parga by taxi, KTEL bus, or boat.
