Should an Indian visitor wish to stay longer than 30 days, they must apply in person for a visa extension at the Immigration Headquarters in Nairobi. An extension may be granted once, for a total of up to 3 additional months.

Transit Visa For Kenya
Transit Visa is a temporary visa that is given to an Indian traveller when he/she needs to halt at Kenya to reach his/her destination. A Transit visa is not granted to people who wish to stay in Kenya for business, tourism or medical purposes. Transit Visa is a single-use visa. Transit Visa is valid for at least three days.

- Hold all documents required for the next destination

- A copy of the passport front cover page
- A letter of invitation
- A copy of the Company Registration Certificate of the company in Kenya
- A copy of the staff ID of the person who signed the letter of invitation
