This Falls is the second highest falls of India after Nohkalikai Falls with the drop of about 335 m and located in Meghalaya. Department for tourists has arranged various facilities and made steps from point of view for falls back to the bottom of the hill where you can enjoy the amazing view of falls o the opposite side. These steps are about 1400 to reach at the bottom of the hill. Jog Falls is consisted of following segments; Raja Roarer Rocket Rani Amazing falls is surrounded by evergreen dense forests and is the evidence of supernature and a treat to eyes. The magnificence and unsurpassed beauty of the waterfalls is enriched for tourists and walking down to the bottom of the hill to feel the depth of the nature and explore the beauty.

Sharavathi, river in south India which rises at Ambutirtha which is next to Nonabur and takes northwesterly course by Fatte petta and right below Pattaguppe and Yenne Hole on the left which is above Barangi. Then it bends to the west and after 29 kilometers discharge into sea in Uttara Kannada. Sharavati after flowing over 250 yards it reaches chasm and then water enters into the distant falls. Best time to visit: Best time to visit Jog is from January to December. In April, average temperature is 38 degree and lowest is 28 degree. Joga Falls have savanna climate .
