Excursions- Hideaway offers guests the chance to explore the ocean on a private yacht, or a picnic on an isolated sandbank. The island of Utheemu houses the birthplace and home of Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu. Take a 'dhoni', a traditional Maldivian boat, out on the water to stargaze under the stars.

Watersports- Watersports are a given wherever you are in the Maldives, but Hideaway offers every water sport imaginable. Those looking to unwind can take a catamaran out on the water and sail away to nearby uninhabited islands. Or go standup paddling and explore the surrounding waters. NOTE: Although there is no particular dress code during the day, they do ask you not to wear uncovered swimming attire in the restaurants during breakfast and lunch time. For dinner, they kindly request a smart casual dress code in all restaurants. They also kindly remind you, as a sign of respect to the local culture, to please cover up when joining excursions to local islands.

MEERU BAR & GRILL- After a day in paradise, Meeru Bar and Grill is the ideal location to unwind with casual meals by the pool. The authentic pizzas, which are made by hand and baked in a wood-fired oven, the perfectly prepared meat on the Lava Stone Grill, and the lobsters that are cooked right on the grill are just a few of the mouthwatering dishes offered on the worldwide menu. While eating dinner outside on the deck, keep an eye out for stingrays, baby sharks, and fish swimming in the water below.

MATHEEFARU- Dinner is a magical affair where diners sit on the open air deck under a sea of stars. Matheefaru means coral reef in the local language. For an utterly romantic experience we recommend booking one of the two over-water private dining pavilions.

SAMSARA ASIAN FUSION- Samsara Asian Fusion offers serene surroundings coupled with an exquisite fusion of Thai, Indian and Japanese influences. How to Reach Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa

The Maldives is one of the most beautiful places in the world to visit. From Male's International Airport, you can fly directly to the resort by seaplane or by private jet. A 15-20 minute speedboat transfer is available for those opting for a seaplane transfer.
