Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh is famous for it's rare White Tiger. With a coat colour of white or near white, these tigers are rare to find and are therefore, a particular tourism attraction. Additionally, these are extremely important figures in not only literature or films, but also in the mythologies of certain places. For instance, it was believed in the ancient Chinese stories that the white tiger would only appear when the emperor ruled with absolute virtue, or if there was peace throughout the world. White tigers are rare, and are mainly concentrated in the Indian subcontinents. So, in order to protect them from poaching and hunting, certain sanctuaries have been set up with them as their primary focus. And the most important of them, with a large number of White Bengal Tigers is the Bandhavgarh National Park.
