Attica - Greece

Attica is like a paradise for nature lovers because it offers a varied landscape. The beautiful mountain views add to the beauty of the town. Close to the Lake, there is also a beach called Schinias where one can enjoy swimming with an amazing natural backdrop. 

At the southernmost area of Attica, Cape Sounion is located, on the top of which a temple called Poseidon exists. This 6th-century temple is also a great place to capture some great sunset views. 

Next to the Sounion port, the Mineralogical Museum is located where you can be introduced to some famous historical artifacts from the past. 

Ancient Eleusis is another major tourist attraction of Attica. It is located on the western side of Attica. From the 17th till the 4th century BC, the Temple of Demeter was in limelight due to numerous Eleusinian Mysteries.
